Lassai is a black queer/non binary multidimensional artist from the south side of Chicago, with an emphasis in Music | Film | Theatre. Lassai discovered their purpose at a very early age, performing in the church choir and school functions, and regional theatres. Lassai eventually went on to study musical theatre at University. Lassai’s biggest influences are Luther Vandross, Frank Ocean, Dawn Richard, Sylvester, and Blood Orange. Recently, Lassai has been seen performing throughout the Chicago theatre scene and music scene in various plays and music festivals. Lassai released their latest project “Wonderland” Fall of 2020 available now on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms.
