For Pride Night 2025, SoMad proposes a drop-in activation featuring Claywoman—a 500-million-year-old extra-terrestrial sage from the Mirillion Galaxy. Conceived by Michael Cavadias and first appearing as part of the legendary queer gothic theater troupe Blacklips Performance Cult at the Pyramid Club in 1993, Claywoman is equal parts mystic, therapist, and cosmic drag philosopher.

Set within the Community Hub—envisioned as a space for introspection and connection—Claywoman will offer a unique one-on-one or small-group “cosmic counseling” session. Participants will have the chance to sit with her in a soft, sculptural space and ask life’s big (or small) questions. Think: queer oracle meets performance therapy. Claywoman will respond with absurd, poetic, and wise musings—opening space for both laughter and reflection.
