As a DJ, musician, broadcaster, writer and record collector DJ Ruby’s work is driven by a commitment to musical exploration and desire to bring people together to hear something new.
Ruby spent years cutting their teeth at New Orleans radio stations and record stores before moving to Brooklyn in 2017, where they’ve spent time documenting the experiences of NYC’s resident jazz legends, reviewing new music and continuing to search for the perfect groove. Unearthing sounds that feel both worn-in and fresh at the same time, Ruby brings their fearless and eclectic selections to every room.
