Linda Felcher is a multimedia and multidisciplinary drag cryptid that has been lurking in the depths of the Brooklyn Nightlife scene since 2013. Working in live and digital performance, Linda is also a skilled costume designer and maker of things, fusing mediums to tell stories on stage (and screen).
Linda is a shapeshifter, exploring gender and the limits of the (in)human body through their designs, distorting the human form with masks, makeup, puppetry and video. Their videos have been featured among many digital screenings throughout 2020-2021 including several by the Anchoress Syndicate. Their individual performances have been showcased in live productions such with Switch N Play sharing the stage with RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Sasha Velour, and filmmaker Julio Torres director of Problemista Live performance series at Ars Nova, Showgasm.
